School's Out For The Summer!

The mom is Joyce Heinrich, an experienced preschool and elementary education teacher, mother of five, and a foster parent. Her influence has spread outside the classroom to parent instruction, speaking to women's groups, and friendship counseling with other moms.

The daughter is Annette LaPlaca, a freelance writer who holds many children dear-through childcare, Sunday school teaching, and work with teens. She is the author of two books for teens: One in a Zillion and Not a Hollywood Family.
