Pp. xxiv, 364, numerous text-figures (line-drawings) and photos. Publisher's original brown cloth, lettered in gilt on the spine, pictorial dust jacket, lg 8vo. "New data on the structure and cycles of the forest are presented, aiding interpretations of behaviors described. The behavior of gibbons, leaf monkeys, and macaques is summarized, and niche differentiation, positional behavior, and long-term changes in behavior are discussed together with a brief consideration of competitors" (from the jacket flap). No ownership marks. Fine copy in near fine dust jacket (with faint stain on the bottom front of the jacket).
