Your mamma don’t know shit is a satirical and entertaining way to look at mental health. I myself am a great fan of the variety and abundance of self-affirming and uplifting books out there. But I’ve grown weary of the ultra-positive advice and I want to try something new. Unlike traditional self-help books, this book is not going to tell you that you are wonderful and all your decisions are perfect. Toxic positivity needs to be addressed and people should stop feeling ashamed for not always being able to throw on a fake smile. Before writing this book, I underestimated how much my upbringing had shaped my adult self. I have wrestled with many past demons and have developed to a point of forgiveness and total acceptance.

Your manna dont know shit is the bible of life lessons not learnt. Life isn't always fair and I hope to share my personal experiences with you in an effort to normalize rational anxiety in a satirical and comic fashion.

This book contains no magic pill to fix your life, self-care is not just bubble baths and scented candles. Sometimes it's a full-blown scream into a pillow.
