When his ten-year-old daughter is gravely injured at a town recreation sports event, Danny Beers is desperate for answers, and he hires local Long Island attorney Nicole Anzalone to bring a lawsuit against a billion-dollar corporation represented by a legendary New York City attorney and his powerful Park Avenue law firm.
As Danny and Anzalone struggle to push their case towards trial, events are unfolding inside the Manhattan firm. A young summer clerk named Seamus P. O'Reilly is assigned to a series of product liability cases that includes the Beers litigation, and he stumbles across a secret that could blow the lid off the lawsuits ... unless it never sees the inside of a courtroom.
Skillfully weaving these two stories, ONE MAN, ONE DAY moves from small-town America to the inner workings of the New York City court system, and ultimately to a high-stakes courtroom trial in which the characters in this rich and compelling novel are forced to confront the consequences of their life's choices.
"A heart-pumping legal drama, ONE MAN, ONE DAY packs an emotional punch while also delivering rich dollops of wisdom and welcome interludes of humor. A fabulous debut novel with richly-developed characters and a fascinating plot revolving around legal liability for a gravely injured child, I was on the edge of my seat from start to finish -- and the ending left me both satisfied and yearning for more."
Nina Sankovitch, best-selling author.

Shipping terms
Orders usually ship within 2 business days. Shipping costs are based on standard-sized books weighing up to 4 LB, or 1.8 KG. If your book order is heavy and/or over-sized and the shipping address is OUTSIDE of The United States, we may contact you to let you know extra shipping is required.
At Mahler Books, we make no attempt to over-charge for shipping. Sometimes International buyers are surprised to discover the high cost of shipping heavy or over-sized books.
If you are located OUTSIDE of The United States, and you are ordering a heavy or over-sized book, the shipping costs are estimated to be about 42 US dollars. This is the cost of the Global Priority Flat Rate Box. I agree that this shipping cost seems excessive, but this is what the Postal Service charges me, and this is the cheapest rate I have been able to locate for large books weighing over 1.8 KG.
