The Son of Man, Discourses on the Humanity of Jesus Christ, Tr. by J. Sturge

The Son Of Man, Discourses On The Humanity Of Jesus Christ, Tr. By J. Sturge by Franck Coulin. This collection presents five discourses on Jesus of Nazareth, tracing his humanity and divine calling. It opens with an analysis of Jesus as the Son of Man, his relationship with God, and the plan for the kingdom of God. The Holy One and the Just is followed by The Man of Sorrows, The Risen One, and The King, outlining a narrative from birth to resurrection and kingship. Coulin argues that God was in Christ reconciling the world, that the cross and resurrection reveal a unique holiness, and that Jesus rules over humanity by moral authority rather than force. The volume also includes the Translator's Preface and a Geneva address on teaching Christ. The work blends devotional reflection with historical, philosophical, and theological examination of the humanity and divinity of Jesus.”
