The Man in the Moon: Book 1

Since time immemorial, humans have looked upwards towards the moon and wondered about the fantastical happenings that were perhaps taking place on, or below its lunar surface. A timeless dream, which became personified in the mythic figure of "The Man in the Moon." Even in the last century, when man has attempted to better understand its unknown terrain, the moon still remains an enduring, alluring, mystifying presence. "The Man in the Moon." The first installment in Neil Bloom's "The Man in the Moon Trilogy," a novel that chronicles the out-of-this-world adventures of Astronaut Colonel Philip Brewstow, who is marooned on the moon during a space mission gone awry. He is abandoned by his commanding officer and presumed dead by everyone on Earth, except his young daughter Angelina and fellow Astronaut and best friend, Colonel Adam Trinidad. Philip discovers a shocking secret no other human has ever encountered; the Man in the Moon is real, and there's an entire world that thrives beneath the moon's surface. But this world, whose tidal regulations and very existence the Earth depends on, is in relentless peril, as its energy source is dwindling rapidly, with no solution in sight. Back on Earth, Angelina's unswerving belief in her father's survival is vindicated when she finally opens the letter he left for her years ago. Soon, Colonel Trinidad manages to gain access to a top-secret, hidden spacecraft, the untested SK-1 (prototype), which will take him on a perilous, unauthorized venture to the moon. He will soon find out that he's accompanied by a young stowaway, whose love for her father knows no bounds. But just as the potential rewards are great, so too are the risks.
