Dark brown cloth. 1848 printing, early reprint of the Ninth English Edition, first published in Philadelphia in 1844. Cloth mildly soiled, with backstrip showing evidence of glue repair, mended/remounted though lacking approx. 1/4" at head of spine, with paper title label only partial due to silverfishing. Firm hinges, fully intact binding, clean and virtually unmarked interior showing mild foxing to endsheets only, unusually clean and bright, all text block edges uniform. Size: 12mo - over 6�" - 7�" tall.
