About the Author: Beth Cooperman is an Associate Professor of Finance and the Program and Discipline Director for Finance at The Business School at the University of Colorado at Denver. She received her Ph.D. from the University of Georgia. Her research articles have appeared in The Journal of Finance, Financial Management, Review of Economics and Statistics, Real Estate Economics, The Journal of Financial Services Research and other leading finance journals. She is a past president of the Midwest Finance Association, and did an externship with Colorado Business Bank in Denver.
