Managing Your Individual Computing Project 2nd Edition: An Agile Approach for Students and Supervisors

Are you about to start your final year computing project? This book shows you how to manage it brilliantly using a simple agile approach that fully engages you and your supervisor throughout your computing or computer science or information systems project. The book tells you why the traditional waterfall approach to planning is not suited to the one-person project and why an agile, iterative and incremental approach is perfect. The book explains how to use the agile tools and how to get the most out of planning so that you actually enjoy it! The book explains the role of the supervisor and the expectations you and your supervisor should have when applying this brilliant approach to project planning, control and review. Finally, project management makes sense. This second edition supersedes and updates the first edition with significant changes.
