Managing Migraine: A Healthcare Professional's Guide to Collaborative Migraine Care

This book is the companion to a book that we hope you will share with your patient: Managing Migraine: A Patient's Guide to Successful Migraine Care. The books are designed to be used in concert and provide a template from which a therapeutic partnership can be established and a base from which the patient and clinician can effectively explore migraine. The four authors approach the subject of migraine from slightly different perspectives. Two authors are neurologists, one is a family doctor, and one a psychologist; all are practicing physicians.

Roger K. Cady, MD, is the co-founder and director of the Headache Care Center and the founder of Clinvest and Primary Care Network in Springfield, Missouri. He is Vice-President of the National Headache Foundation.

Richard B. Lipton, MD, is Professor and Vice Chair of Neurology, and Professor of Epidemiology and Population Health at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York. He also is the Director of the Montefiore Headache Center.

Kathleen Farmer, PsyD, is the co-founder of the Headache Care Center in Springfield, Missouri and specializes in biofeedback and pain management.

Marcelo E. Bigal, MD, PhD, is the Global Director of Scientific Affairs-Neuroscience at Merck Research Laboratories, and was previously at the Department of Neurology at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
