His research interests include software components, software architecture, software maintenance, and software metrics. Khaled has extensively published papers in high quality research forums in the areas of software maintenance, software components and security. He received a BS and an MS in computer science and informatics from the University of Trondheim, Norway. He also holds another bachelors degree from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. He is currently Head of Program for Master of Computing at the University of Western Sydney.
