This is the first publication within the Series Coptica of the Corpus Fontium Manichaeorum, containing the editions of the Manichaean codices found 65 years ago in the sands of Egypt. The edition of the Coptic text is based on a new interpretation of the text from the metrical point of view. Hitherto unpublished old (prewar) photographs played a first-rank role in reconstructing the text and are reproduced for the first time in this volume. An introduction, apparatus criticus, notes and a new translation, in German, complete this edition of the Psalm-Book in which basic concepts of the Religion of Light are reflected within a document possessing a concrete function within the Manichaean church. Books are offered if unsold. The order of incoming orders will be respected strictly.
The books that are offered online are not available at our bookshop at 48 Kloosterstraat.
You will receive an e-mail confirming the availability of the book(s) and providing details with regard to shipment costs (we use Belgian and Dutch postal companies for the most cost-effective shipments.
The indicated shipment costs have been calculated according to the rates for shipments of up to 2 kilo. We will choose the most cost-effective shipment option, depending on the weight: either letter post or parcel post.
