Synopsis
Rising star attorney Thomas Berte just got the promotion of a lifetime. And a warrant with his name on it…
“…a masterful debut novel. Outstanding!” —James Chandler, Wall Street Journal bestselling author of Misjudged
As the new Deputy Attorney General, Tom's first assignment should be straightforward: take down Cosimo "Nino" Benedetto, the untouchable head of a global crime syndicate. Follow the money, build the case, get the conviction.
But the financial trails lead straight back to his old law firm—the prestigious powerhouse that launched his career. Now the hunter has become the hunted, and there's only one move left: get closer to the man he came to indict.
The Manipulator intricately weaves the high-stakes drama of a man ensnared in the most defining trial of his life, where a stunning conclusion pits the pursuit of justice against the ultimate sacrifice of moral certainty.
