About the Author

Dale Soderberg, author of five novels, majored in English at Gettysburg College where he was encouraged by his professors to begin creative writing. While teaching classes on the Expatriate writers, he decided that teaching Ernest Hemingway's The Sun Also Rises required knowing something about the Feria de San Fermin in Pamplona, Spain which is famous for its encierro, or running with the bulls. Although he has never run personally, he has watched the running during seven fiestas and has also become an American aficionado of the bullfight. In addition to teaching and writing, Soderberg has also originated, organized, and directed tours to South America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia. His many creative activities over the years have brought him inclusion in the Marquis editions of Who's Who in the East, American Education, America, and the World. He and his wife, Marjorie, live in Hamilton, New York where they have close ties with Colgate University.
