A Manual Of Christian Baptism, Infant Baptism And The Mode: In Two Discourses (1843)

A Manual of Christian Baptism, Infant Baptism and the Mode: In Two Discourses (1843) is a book written by Thomas Lape. The book is a comprehensive guide on the subject of Christian baptism, particularly infant baptism and the different modes of baptism. The book is divided into two discourses, each covering a different aspect of the topic. The first discourse focuses on the biblical and historical background of Christian baptism, while the second discourse examines the practical aspects of the sacrament, including the proper mode of baptism and the role of parents and sponsors in the baptismal ceremony. Lape's book is a valuable resource for anyone seeking to understand the significance and practice of Christian baptism, and provides a thorough exploration of the subject from both a theological and practical perspective. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
