Binding tight. Writing and drawing on inner front board and ffep; occasional marking throughout interior. Interior smudged. Brown boards with design, faded in some areas; a few small marks. Boards shelf worn, heavily worn to corners and spine ends, some wear along spine. Colored illustrations throughout. "This book is not intended for beginning reading. This book is the first step in teaching pupils how to study." - preface. 69 pages of directions followed 150 pages of the reader.
