Sixth Edition, seventh impression. 1941 copyright, printed 1943. Own a genuine piece of mid-century technical history. Published in 1943 at the height of World War II, this 6th edition of Thomas E. French's classic manual was heavily utilized for wartime industrial manufacturing and military technical training. This particular edition marks a significant milestone, as it was the final version completely overseen by French himself before his passing in 1944. An excellent collectible for engineering enthusiasts, historians, or anyone looking for an authentic vintage industrial display piece for bookshelves or office decor. Condition: Vintage fair-to-good condition. The cover boards show typical shelf wear, mild sunning, and minor age spotting. The spine cloth has darkened with age, featuring noticeable rubbing and fraying at the top and bottom caps. Gold lettering on the spine is dulled but entirely legible. Wear on back board. Owner signatures inside front cover. Please look closely at the photos to evaluate the exact cosmetic condition for yourself.…

Store description
I’ve loved books since before I could read. You could say I have a slight problem and have bought too many over the years, although in my opinion there is no such thing as too many books! Er, until one runs out of shelf space. That is my current predicament. My house is small and my collection is large. I’m hoping to find these old friends new readers who will love and appreciate them as much as I have enjoyed them. I also look for unique and out of print books that I feel may find a spot on a shelf in another home. I am an individual seller and just enjoy sharing my love of books.…
