Manual of Head and Neck Reconstruction: A Step-by-Step Guide

This text will deliver revolutionary approaches to reconstructive surgery in a clear and consistent format. Head and neck reconstruction has long been thought to be a daunting, intimidating, and tedious field of surgery. Microvascular head and neck reconstruction is one of the most advanced surgical options available for reconstruction. It is used to treat defects created by removal of tissue in the larynx, pharynx, oral cavity, salivary glands, tongue, and skin. It is also utilized in combination with chemotherapy and radiation for the treatment of head and neck cancer. Due to the disfiguring nature of the removal of these tissues, microvascular reconstruction is important to return the face, head, and neck to as normal as possible.
