Copy has a total of 753 black and white illustrations and very detailed diagrams. Also has 24 pages of "select list of books in natural and physical science" Previous owners name and date of '99, is written in black ink on the half title page and title page. His name, "Amos Slater, E.M. Mining Engineer, Seattle, Washington" is also impressed on the title page.Previous owners notes written in pencil throughout copy. Covers are slightly scuffed.
