Hardcover cloth (red) over boards with complete d/j. 8vo. viii + 132 pp. Illustrated with 37 b/w diagrams, 1 b/w plate photograph of a compass, and 9 full colour plate maps, all but no. 1 and 5 are fold outs. Second printing of the second (consolidated) edition. Title stamped in black on cover and spine. Slight browning to edges. Book is clean, unmarked, and square with a strong binding. Paper dustjacket (mustard) has an enclosed tear on the back cover, sunned spine, and shows minor general wear. Overall a very functional copy.
