Very eraly edition, good brown cloth with faded gilt along spine and blind stamp decoration to covers shows rubbing to covers, open chipping at top spine corner portion of rear cover with bottom corner showing chewed loss of small portion exposing board beneath as well, exposure toning along spine, with spots fo foxing to areas of interior pages and some other light trace wear, else tight and clean. 204 pages followed by other Carlton and Lanahan titles at rear. Solid and still perfectly readable copy of this notable work on Methodism that will still look good on the shelf.
