Moderate wear to extremities with scuffing to corners and end bands. Corners rounded with board exposed. Head and tail of spine have minor loss with soiling overall to boards. Interior very damp stained throughout, affecting text at times. Foxing and old blooms to end papers. Toned throughout with areas of foxing and age-stain. Free of known markings. Binding intact. A sound copy despite aesthetic issues. Please see photos. A scarce manual of engineering for road makers and rail-road builders. With excerpts on establishing grades, mechanical aspects of bridges and more. Illustrated with tables and vignettes.
