George Cabot (1751-1823) was an American merchant, seaman, and politician, born in Salem, who became a member of the Masschusetts Provincial Congress (1775-1776); delegate to the state constitutional convention in 1777; the Director of the Massachusetts Bank in 1784; delegate to the state convention that adopted the United States Constitution in 1787; and a member of the US Senate from Massachusetts from 1791-1796. John Choate was a judge representative to the Masschusetts State Legislature from 1781-1788. Lower half of sheet torn away, without apparent loss.
