Huge unbacked wall map of the United States featuring the lines of the Santa Fe. Good to very good condition, particularly for an unbacked wall map on paper, with some damage near the top and one short vertical tear near the bottom. There are a couple of small holes, including a 2x8 cm. hole in northern Minnesota/North Dakota. The map is printed completely in an orange/red with black letters and rail lines. An interesting feature is a profile at the bottom left, showing the elevations along the line from Illinois to California, with dividing lines for each state. Inset maps of Hawaii. Sea routes from American to Caribbean and other ports are shown by dotted lines.
