Item description from seller

Unbacked folding map in fine condition. Stiff buff wrappers, "Cyclist's Road Map of Connecticut Issued by the Southern New England Telephone Co." printed on the front. At the lower right corner of the map is the Bell Telephone logo with the words "Local and Long Distance Telephone. Look for the Sign of the Blue Bell". Outline color by town, with elevations shown in color as well. The inside front cover and back cover contain a list of roughly 100 public places which have telephones. The header here is "Telephones will be found at the following places of 'entertainment for man and beast.' " This list demonstrates the novel nature of telephones around the turn of the 20th century.
