Restored wall map in fair to good condition, with areas of loss at top and left sides. Modern linen backing. Contemporary rods. Straight line border at left side supplied in facsimile. Outline color by town, by ward within Cincinnati. Land owners identified. There is no title block, leading to the inference that this is the eastern section only of a larger map of Hamilton County where the title would have been on the western section. This portion of the map can stand alone, however, as a map of Cincinnati and the towns to its east and north. We could find no records which note such a map of Hamilton County, however, so it is not entirely certain that is is only the eastern half of a larger map. Also shows some detail in Covington and Newport, Kentucky. It was found with the attached rods at top and bottom. Regardless of its completeness, this is nonetheless a very attractive, and very rare, map of the land around Cincinnati.
