Rare promotional map from this steamship line, one of the leading transporters of immigrants to the United States in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Map is printed with German place names, information at top listing the company's agents in Antwerp, New York, Philadelphia, Chicago, Milwaukee and Galveston is in English. Roughly dated from the listing at the top of the agent in Chicago, Wasmandorff & Heinemann, a firm which went bankrupt in 1896.
