Detailed wall map of the state, in very good condition, lacking bottom roller, very light chipping at top border, light waterstain at right side. Outline color. Land owners identified. 9 inset maps of towns, cities, and Block Island. This issue contains directory information for Providence businesses along both sides. Another, slightly more common, issue of this map does not carry this information. This is one of the earliest wall maps of Rhode Island alone, without Connecticut or Massachusetts; the only earlier one listed in Phillips is a very scarce, smaller 1831 production from Newport.
