Folding timetable map, with 22 panels on each side, of the western United States, from the Canadian border in the north, Illinois and Wisconsin in the east and northern Arizona and New Mexico in the south. Shows most of Arkansas and eastern Oklahoma, but very little of northern Texas. Very good condition, with one repaired split along a fold and other short tears at the edges. Highlights the lines of the Union Pacific, including the many shorter connecting lines through Kansas, Nebraska and Colorado. One panel also has a map of downtown Chicago, identifying major hotels and other major buildings and depots. The verso has timetables for all of the Union Pacific lines, with arrival and departure times for trains from all of the stations served. Among these are associated feeder lines serving Wyoming, Montana, Utah, Nevada, California, Idaho, Oregon and Washington. There is also an index of all stations. The timetables are current to Feburary, 1888. Printed by Rand McNally.
