Signed and inscribed by the author on the front end page: " To ----- / One of an ever- / widening gyre of women - / circling my work - supporting it - / Many thanks - / Marilyn". Note the use of the unusual word "gyre" (as a noun, meaning 'circle'). A crisp, fine (unread) book in a near fine dustjacket with no visible wear, just mild fading to the spine from red to dark orange. Otherwise, fine - uncreased, unclipped and very clean. An uncommon title, much more so with the inscription and the review letter.
