Condition Report Externally Spine – very good condition – gilt titles, five raised bands, minor marks and wear. Joints – very good condition – gently worn. Corners – very good condition – rubbed and worn. Boards – good condition – full morocco leather covered boards, minor marks and scratches, gilt initials and date to the front board. Page edges – very good condition – all edges gilt. Binding – very good condition – attractive. See above and photos. Internally Hinges – very good condition – sound. Paste downs – very good condition – marbled paper, inner gilt dentelles, inscription. End papers – good condition – marbled paper, subsequently tanned and minorly foxed. Title – fair condition – tanned with minor foxing, ink stain.
