Original brown cloth on beveled boards. Previous owner's name and date (1877) in lovely script. Book has abrasion to cover and is slightly shaken. The subject is the beloved eldest daughter of Sir Thomas More, who takes the trouble to rescue his head after his execution. Although she is credited with several book titles, I found little information on the author. She closes the book with a glowing tribute to Margaret. 311 pp. Size: 12mo - over 6�" - 7�" tall.
