Early edition in red decorated cloth with gilt titling, engravings, 81[6]pp, no date. Good+ with wear at extremities; original owner signature on flyleaf + later (early) owner stamp. An attractive reprint of the sad story of an orphaned little girl, who gets an illness caused by an unsufficient diet. Kind people try to help her but cannot save her. The surviving sister, spends her life henceforward in the hospital nursing other children. Delightful.
