About the Author: Mari Wolf was born August 27, 1927 and grew up in Laguna Beach, California. In the early 50's she was active in the science fiction fan scene and for a number of years wrote a column for Imagination magazine called "Fandora's Box." She also had a number of short stories published during this period and in 1961 a novel The Golden Frame came out. She was married to fellow science fiction author and fan columnist Roger Phillips Graham.
