Collated complete. A detailed study of algology, a branch of life science which focuses on algae, in this case sea-weeds found along the British coastlines. Written by Isabella Gifford, a British botanist. In the original full cloth binding. Externally, smart with light rubbing and bumping to the extremities. Light fading to the spine with the odd small mark to the boards. Small splits in the cloth to the head of the spine. Front hinge just starting but firm. Internally, firmly bound.
