Synopsis
In the gospel according to Mark, the reader does not see a meek and mild Jesus; rather, the Son of God is portrayed more like an action hero, moving quickly from scene to scene, healing the sick, casting out demons, and confronting His opponents. The whole text is surrounded in a sense of urgency. Jesus is seen as energetic and tireless as He proceeds from event to event, revealing more and more physical evidence of His position as both the Son of Man and the Son of God. In this study, PCF explores Jesus Christ through the unique perspective of this gospel account.
