This format #3, VG- book, using Harper's lettering system on the copyright page, was printed in April, 1934 but lists only to itself, as does the jacket. The exterior has a slight lean, is reasonably clean (there is a nickel-sized spot on the front board), with lightly bumped lower corners and head and heel of the spine; there are also some browns spots on the fore edge (they look almost like wood stain splatters), a few of which smear into the margins. The interior is free of writing and page damage but does have numerous pages with the earlier mentioned light brown stains; the vast majority are in the margins but some (maybe 10-15 pages) have the stains in the text--but the stains are so light in color that they are merely an eyesore, not a reading distraction. The G+ jacket has a mildly faded spine, chips at the head and heel of the spine (see photo) and the front fold is torn 3-1/4" at the top and 2" at the bottom, with the front flap attached for only about 2-1/2" of its length; it is not taped.
