Marked: Who Matters? Who Decides?

He disappeared into the streets years ago. Now he’s the only one who can expose what’s hiding there.

Once a promising engineer, Marc Hollen vanished from the system and reemerged on society’s edge—a ghost among the homeless, forgotten by most. But when a mobile mental health van arrives in his city, offering fast fixes and digital salvation, Marc’s instincts flare. Something about it doesn’t add up. What begins as quiet suspicion turns into a hunt for truth when people start vanishing… or returning changed.

Marc, and an emerging ensemble of unlikely heroes uncovers a conspiracy that runs deeper than data. Behind the friendly branding of BetterPath is MindThread, a corporate giant testing unregulated tech on the nation’s most vulnerable. It’s fast. It’s profitable. And it leaves no paper trail—just people, marked and discarded. As cities celebrate a miracle cure, Marc must decide how far he’s willing to go—and what part of himself he’s willing to lose—to protect those the world refuses to see.
