This is ME

A baby, destined to die, lives. Marty's story begins in a small rural hospital, where there is no hope-yet hope and miracles surround her as she enters the world. Follow her journey as she struggles to overcome every obstacle that crosses her path while raising a family and maintaining a professional career she has come to love.

Relive her fears as she learns of a mysterious illness for which there is no cure, forcing her to face the loss of nearly everything she holds dear. Walk beside her as she presses forward, even as her access to the world around her diminishes and the strength in her lower extremities fades with each passing day.

Never giving up, she transforms into a survivor-determined to cast aside the label of degeneration. Standing strong, unshaken by insinuations and doubts, she embarks on a quest to uncover true validation for her illness, hidden deep in the shadows. For her, surrender is no longer an option.

May her journey inspire each of us to look inward, discover our own strength amid life's trials, and continue pursuing our personal mission on this planet.

Marty Tilley, who holds a degree in psychology and has completed postgraduate work in communications, has spent nearly twenty years adapting to a disease shrouded in mystery and darkness. Today, she continues her research on her farm in Adams, Tennessee, alongside her husband and their rescue tabby, Kitty-who has blossomed into a mighty hunter.
