Three copies noted on OCLC (UCLA, Library of Congress, and Ohio State Univ). The story of Mary, an ambitious, but unsophisticated young woman making her way in New York. Ruth Dewey Groves was a writer and novelist. Nine of her novels were published between 1928 and 1936 by A. L. Burt, Grosset & Dunlap, and Phoenix Press. During this period, her stories were also popularly serialized in newspapers.
