Dark blue cloth with gilt spine & cover & titles; 4to; 176pp; decorated endpapers; illustrated with color & b/w photos; color photographic dust jacket, signed by both authors on title page, the "Expanded Edition." The Mason Decoy Factory in Detroit operated roughly between 1896 to 1924. His early decoys were made for his friends and co-members of The Old Club on Harsen's Island on the Saint Clair River delta. The book covers the full range of Mason's decoys, the best available examples are illustrated and described, covering all species, Mason grades and time periods.
