About the Author
CODY Macfie is an experienced mason who makes his home in the mountains of western North Carolina. He runs two businesses, Steep Creek Stoneworks, which specializes in stone construction, and French Broad Stone Supply, a building- and landscape-stone materials company. With all that to oversee, Cody still finds time to write about his craft. His work has appeared in publications such as Fine Homebuilding magazine, and he’s the author of Getting Started with Mortared Stonework.
