A Masquerade of Magic (Paperback)

You are invited to a Halloween House Party and Masquerade Ball at Oak Haven Castle!

Something Wonderful

Being invited by a friend to spend a week at the famed Sinclair family Halloween house party was an opportunity too good to pass up for Piper Sullivan. Even though she wasn't a member of the Echelon, she expected to have an enjoyable time, staying on the fringes while enjoying the entertainments the event was known for. But when a motherless girl asked to be read to and she meets her father, the Earl of Huntington, her holiday suddenly takes a turn. Caught up in days of walks in the crisp afternoon air, bonfires and candied apples, and parlor games in the evenings, she can't help hoping that she'll find Something Wonderful with the father and daughter who have captured her heart.

Tristan Wakefield's first marriage had been arranged but he was determined his next one would be based on friendship and affection-not always easy to find among the social conscious Echelon. When he came across his daughter cuddled up against a young woman good-naturedly reading storybooks to her, he found himself entranced by her quiet beauty and innate kindness. And, as the Masquerade ball nears, he is determined to make the Halloween magic they are caught up in last for a lifetime.

A Halloween Kiss

Hadley has been in love with Kenneth Sinclair her entire life. Friends since childhood, he's never given any indication that his feelings go any deeper than friendship and as the years passed, she began to wonder if he was her future after all. A reading with the orb reader provided as one of the entertainments hinted that she'd meet her Seraphin at the Masquerade ball, leaving her to wonder...did she take a risk and confess where her heart lay or did fate have another love in mind for her?

Kenneth knew there was something special about Hadley since he'd first laid eyes on her when they were children and had patiently waited for her to grow up before broaching his feelings for her. He was determined that this Halloween was the time...only to find that her heart might not be his after all. Now, as the Masquerade Ball cast its special magic over the guests, he will do whatever it takes to make sure that Hadley's midnight ended with A Halloween Kiss.

A closed-door, light historical fantasy romance Halloween anthology

I love to read. I can't remember a time when I didn't have a book in my hand no matter where I was and that love of reading inspired me to write my own stories.

As a young girl, I scribbled original short stories in cheap spiral-bound notebooks during class (after I finished my work, of course! I was one of those quiet, 'good' students) and then would read them to my friends during recess. I was writing romances even then.

I continued writing during college and into adulthood (working as an assistant manager of our family's gift store, as an administrative assistant and as a kinder/1st grade teacher), finding my voice with stories and characters that seemed to fill my head fully-formed. I took the plunge and decided to join the indie publishing movement (I love the creative freedom), hoping to find readers who love romance touched with magic as much as I do.

I write what I love to read: light fantasy romances with humor, heart, and a swirl of magic!

My characters like to banter, have family and friends that offer humor and support, have magical Gifts and fall in love with their Seraphins (my take on the soulmate trope). The stories take place in settings from cozy magical bakery's to exotic mythical island kingdoms to elegant manor houses.

Each book is light, emotional, and cozy with a guaranteed Happily-Ever-After at the end. My hope is you close each book with a sigh and smile, feeling uplifted and happy as you go about your day.
