Anthony V. Capildeo FRSL is a Trinidadian Scottish writer of poetry and non-fiction. Capildeo’ s work has been recognized with awards including the Windham-Campbell Prize, the OCM Bocas Prize for Poetry, the Saltire National Poetry Award, the Forward Poetry Prize for Best Collection, and the Cholmondeley Award. Capildeo is Professor and Writer in Residence at the University of York, an Honorary Student of Christ Church, Oxford, where they read for a DPhil in Old Norse and translation theory.
