Two volume set in three quarter red morocco leather over marbled boards, raised spine bands, gilt spine lettering and decoration, top edges gilt, other edges untrimmed, marbled endpapers, tissue protected frontis illustrations plus other tissue protected plates, books about 9.25 inches tall. Pages are mainly unopened (still attached at outer edges) and unread, with a horizontal closed tear to one leaf in volume II (no loss of text). Spines lightly sun-darkened, some modest edgewear with light chipping to the spine head of the first volume, firm bindings, clean pages, no names or other markings. Limited Edition. Hard Cover. Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
