"I have been enormously blessed by John Pollock's magnificent historical works. Now he has given us the most important biography of all--a life of Jesus."
- Charles W. Colson

JOHN POLLOCK, a Cambridge-educated clergyman, became Billy Graham's authorized biographer early in the evangelist's career. His many biographies also include The Apostle: A Life of Paul, available from Victor Books in this pocket-size format. John Pollock and his wife, Anne, reside in Devonshire, England.

John Pollock, who is the official biographer of Billy Graham, here presents a life of Jesus as seen by the Apostle John. Pollock remains faithful to the Gospels, and his work will especially appeal to evangelicals. Englishman Davidson gives a spirited reading that uses his distinctive voice well. Rather than attempting to give each character a distinct voice, Davidson adroitly changes his narrative voice to portray mood or character. Sometimes the voice he uses to express excitement may sound slightly amusing to American ears. On the whole, however, his voice has a peculiar gait that makes this work a pleasure to listen to and an energy that sustains the excitement, and wonder, of this tale. M.T.F.
