Mei Li has a list of tasks longer than her arm, a team of experts willing to do the work, and a looming deadline for saving the world. Again. Solving-the-world problems seem to breed in the dark; she barely gets through one before she’s got another.
There is an end in sight, though. If she can reach it, then she can finally live in peace with her husband and go back to reading books all day.
Mei Li can’t think of a better way to spend the rest of her life. Assuming she lives to see it.
