Mastering Domain-Specific LLMs : Build Production-Ready AI Models with Fine-Tuning, Knowledge Bases, Retrieval-Augmented Generation and LLMOps
Tired of AI that sounds smart but gives the wrong answers when your work really matters?
Many developers and AI teams start with a powerful large language model, only to discover that it doesn't understand their business, industry, or private data. They spend hours reading scattered tutorials, trying different models, experimenting with fine-tuning, and building RAG pipelines that still return inaccurate or inconsistent results. Before long, valuable time is lost, costs go up, and production deployments become frustrating.
If that sounds familiar, this book was written for you.
Mastering Domain-Specific LLMs takes you step by step through the complete process of building AI systems that truly understand your organization's knowledge. Instead of focusing on theory alone, you'll learn practical methods that you can apply to real projects from day one.
Inside this book, you'll learn how to:
• Choose the right foundation model for your use case
• Prepare high-quality datasets that improve AI performance
• Fine-tune LLMs using modern techniques such as LoRA and QLoRA
• Build knowledge bases that keep your AI accurate and up to date
• Create Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines that retrieve trusted information before generating answers
• Work with embeddings, vector databases, and semantic search
• Develop AI assistants that understand industry-specific documents and workflows
• Deploy production-ready AI applications with APIs and cloud infrastructure
• Monitor, evaluate, secure, and improve AI systems using modern LLMOps practices
• Reduce hallucinations and build AI applications users can trust
This isn't a book filled with vague ideas or copied documentation. You'll find clear explanations, complete working code examples, practical projects, real-world use cases, hands-on exercises, architecture diagrams, implementation guidance, and proven engineering practices that help you avoid costly mistakes.
Whether you're building AI for healthcare, finance, legal services, cybersecurity, education, manufacturing, customer support, or enterprise software, you'll gain the skills to create domain-specific AI systems that deliver reliable, accurate, and production-ready results.
Written by an experienced AI practitioner, this book combines tested engineering methods with practical knowledge drawn from real-world AI development. Every chapter builds on the last, making even advanced topics easier to understand and apply. Don't waste weeks piecing together information from blog posts, videos, and outdated tutorials. Start building domain-specific LLMs the right way with a clear roadmap that takes you from the fundamentals to production deployment.
Get your copy of Mastering Domain-Specific LLMs today and start building AI systems that understand your data, solve real business problems, and deliver results you can trust.

Store description
**Please note our transit times are from the date of dispatch.** We first started out as “The Paperback Exchange,” a chain of physical bookstores where we would part exchange your beloved books for new stories to transport you to faraway places. However, as shopping started to evolve to online shops and marketplaces, we bid our stores goodbye to become “PBShop.” This transition has only allowed us to blossom as we now ship thousands of titles to book lovers across the globe. We pride ourselves in being a community of local book lovers which allows our passion and devotion to shine in everything we do. In 2020 we not only celebrated our 20th birthday but our 1st birthday as being completely employee owned after becoming an E.O.T in September 2019. We are proud to be different and embrace standing apart on a book mountain by working from a virtual inventory which allows us to provide thousands of books that may be difficult to get for your bookshelf or your studies. Working with a number of different suppliers allows us to explore other avenues such as puzzles, sheet music and even stationery so we really do have something for everyone. Life is about being versatile in all realms of existence. If this is your first purchase with us, or you are a returning customer, we would like to welcome you to the PBShop family, for there is no friend as loyal as a book. We are a company who put our customers at the centre of everything we do as we understand the importance of reading because once you learn to read, you will forever be free. There are a whole lot of things in this world of ours that we are yet to explore, which is why we will forever inspire curious minds.…
