About the Author
A native of Albany, GA, Bummi Niyonu Anderson is a writer, commentator, and author. She has written five other books, entitled, "Out of Darkness Into His Marvelous Light," "I Like it When: A Collection of Love Poems," "Love Lines: Poetry to Love," "The Issues of Life." Bummi has been writing for well over 20 years of her life. She has shared her poetry and commentary at readings on college campuses, at churches, cultural centers, and in poetry book compilations. Bummi has also been featured in Charisma Magazine, the world's largest Christian Magazine. Bummi is a 1990 graduate of Dougherty Comprehensive High School and 1995 graduate of Albany State University, in Political Science. She is currently pursuing a Masters of Fine Art from National University. Bummi is also an Associate Pastor at Rhema Word Cathedral in Albany, GA under the leadership of her spiritual father and mentor, Bishop Victor L. Powell. She resides in Albany, GA with her twin sister, Femi Nilaja, who is a graphic artist.
