The publisher moved to the West 26th Street address in 1910 and in 1916 moved to 1140 Broadway. The Dust Jacket contains an exhaustive list (that continues on the reverse side) of their publications (about 400) and from a reasonable sampling it appears that none of them were first published by any publisher later than 1911. Fine in a Very Good Dust Jacket. The Text Block is clean, white (edges lightly tanned), straight and square with no markings of any kind. The Binding is bright light blue full cloth with elegant gilt design with white title and author to the front board, bright black title, etc., to the spine, white endpapers unmarked except for a prior owner's signature on the front free endpaper, and all corners square and sharp. The Dust Jacket is bright with small chips to the head and heel of the spine and along the top edge with weak spots discreetly reinforced from behind with archival (pH neutral) materials. See photos. 315 pages. 5 1/4" x 8". This novel was originally published by G. P. Putnam's Sons in 1904.
